The Changist has been working with Bridgwater college to design and deliver a new Emergency Services Contact Handler Apprenticeship to staff at Oxleas NHS Trust working on their 24/7 Mental Health Crisis Line in Greater London. This has now been expanded to CNTW NHS Trust in Northumberland. A fantastic opportunity to develop the skills of their staff through communication techniques, building rapport, dealing with emergency situations.  Hopefully more NHS Trusts will come onboard to develop their staff and improve interactions with very distressed callers.
